Aim: If you are in a business meeting, part of a multinational team or face-to-face with somebody from another culture, it is important for communication to know what cultural differences one can meet and how to handle them effectively. This seminar provides background as well as practical examples and exercises for working and communicating across the cultures. Content: - Understanding cultural differences and increasing awareness for them
- Explaining your own culture
- Differences in global business culture (status, understanding of time, task- or relationship oriented work style, role of the leader, the decision-making process)
- Tips on etiquette (customs, eating habits, politeness, humour, role of women, punctuality, taboos)
Target Group: For management, sales and administrative personnel who communicate with people from different nationalities
